Actual-life twins Luke and Elliott Tittensor play House of the Dragon‘s twin knights, Ser Arryk Cargyll and Ser Erryk Cargyll. Each knights are part of the Kingsguard, sworn to guard whomever guidelines the Iron Throne. 

Within the season finale of HBO Max‘s Game of Thrones prequel, which aired Oct. 23, Ser Arryk and Ser Erryk are at odds over the true inheritor to the throne. Ser Arryk sides with Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney), and Ser Erryk helps Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy). Ser Erryk is seen presenting Rhaenyra together with her father’s stolen crown.

Home of the Dragon director Greg Yaitanes informed Entertainment Weekly in an interview printed this week that whereas filming the finale, Elliott acquired COVID. He was then unable to be current for the scene wherein Rhaenyra’s supporters collect across the map of Westeros and plot. Fortunately, his twin brother, Luke, was in a position to step in. Luke, enjoying his brother Ser Erryk, stood subsequent to Rhaenyra for your complete scene, based on EW. Home of Dragon audiences did not discover.

HBO Max did not instantly reply to a request for remark.

Season 2 of House of the Dragon is ready to premiere in 2024.
